STROTEX-Q TPU is a high-strength roofing membrane that can be used on all roof types. It has an additional layer that absorbs excess water vapour and so prevents it from condensing. Because of its sound-insulating properties and its resistance to high temperatures (briefly up to 120 °C), it is especially recommended for installation under copper and aluminium standing-seam coverings. Its slow ageing makes it ideal for roof structures with ceramic roof tiles. A layer of polypropylene nonwoven absorbs moisture and delays condensation. The TPU film is resistant to aggressive substances. With their innovative technology, Strotex Q membranes equalise differences in water-vapour concentration and so protect the roof's thermal-insulation layer. Thanks to its four-layer construction, the membrane has high tear resistance in both the transverse and longitudinal directions. It is available in a version without self-adhesive tape and in a version with one self-adhesive tape.
