A1 classification for interior linings is increasingly required across Europe, especially for public buildings where dry construction methods are used. The reason lies in the harmonisation of fire protection tests and fire safety classifications, which has led to stricter national requirements for building materials and structural elements.
Fermacell Firepanel A1 has been designed specifically for these applications. A new composition and the use of non-combustible fibres have made this possible.
